Neguit, por i impotència quan albiren que a l’entorn d’un dret tan essencial com el de l’habitatge es crea una nova confrontació, en el que ells, les víctimes, tenen totes les de perdre.

Aquest cap de setmana hem sabut que el Govern de l’Estat estudia dur al Constitucional la llei que el passat mes de desembre va aprovar el Parlament de Catalunya per evitar el desnonament de persones en risc d’exclusió social. Es tracta de la segona temptativa, ja que l’anterior ja va ser recorreguda i està sospesa mentre no hi hagi veredicte.

Dit d’aquesta manera tan esquemàtica es pot pensar que parlem d’un conflicte jurídic o de competències, però el fet que hi hagi novament un debat sobre aquesta qüestió va més enllà d’una picabaralla legal. De res ha servit que la llei que ara s’estudia impugnar fos aprovada per unanimitat pel Parlament, ni que tingui l’aval del Consell de l’Advocacia o del Col·legi d’Advocats de Barcelona, per citar dos suports sense connotacions polítiques.

Som humans i ensopeguem amb la mateixa pedra, però la conseqüència de l’ensurt recau, sovint, en qui menys culpa té. No sé si entre els que ara entraran a la brega per un o altre article de la llei han viscut d’a prop o han vist en primera persona què suposa viure en la més absoluta incertesa econòmica i habitacional. Què s’hi amaga darrere de conceptes com vulnerabilitat o risc d’exclusió social. Suposo que si haguessin experimentat aquesta percepció frenarien abans de prendre iniciatives com la que he descrit més amunt.

Las política no està per generar conflictes sinó per a resoldre problemes i els drets són alguna cosa més que una pura i simple declaració de principis. Ja n’hi ha prou de jugar amb el dret a un habitatge digne, de confrontar-lo quan convé amb el dret a la propietat, de posar cara de circumstàncies cada vegada que els damnificats de la crisi ens interpel.len.

Si us plau, no obrin un nou front. Apliquin la lògica i el pragmatisme, tanquin files i pensin en tots aquells, homes i dones, adults i nens, que conviuen amb la sensació de que tot el que els envolta és provisional, fins i tot els drets que els emparen. Per una vegada no afegeixin més llenya al foc.
